Poor customer relations, can't get equipment needed even if covered with insurance and Dr's orders. Personnel are not trained.
Had to buy a walker from another source because of the poor quality Preferred carries. It cost me $170.00 because my insurance wouldn't cover this vendor.
I use oxygen at 4.5 liters. My doctor sent an order for a portable oxy concentrator, and my insurance approved it, but preferred will not supply it. They say I am not qualified.
I am on 6 for liter flow due to COPD. Today when I received my oxygen tanks, 16 were delivered, even though I left 19 empty ones for pickup. Company rep told me that clients are limited to 16 tanks every two weeks. (The first I've heard of that). I volunteer Fridays at VA and use four tanks each Friday. That leaves me with eight for the other 12 days between deliveries. Which is ridiculous!
