wonderful place!

We have been going to Orange Grove Animal Hospital for 8 1/2 years with 5 different animals. We see Dr. Carolyn Lopez and she treats us like family. She goes above and beyond and when we lost 2 of our boys (kitties), she did everything she could to save them and expressed sincere sympathy when we lost them. I will continue taking my babies to her and recommend anyone I know to go there as well. We have also seen Dr. Jarchow when Dr. Lopez is out of the office and he has been very nice also.

I followed my vet to Orange Gr...

I followed my vet to Orange Grove Animal Hospital, so you know I'm a satisfied customer. In the time I've been taking my pets the OG I've seen all the doctors, and I like them all. Also, the support staff are very friendly, good with all my animals, and always call to see how they're doing. I've had good to great service there all the time. I tell my friends about it all the time, and I think if they went there they'd have a better experience than they're having with their current vets.

It's up to you...

I took my Boston Terrier in to Orange Grove Animal Hospital because she had been vomiting & had lost a lot of weight, they looked her over & ran numerous tests (blood, urine & stool) several hundred dollars later they told me that she had pancreatitis & that it will cost between $1,700 & $3,500 depending on what had to be done. They also said "She has to have surgery or,she will die". I was horrified! I didn't havethat kind of cash. But I loved my girl. I called my daughter and she wanted me to take her to Acoma Animal Clinic. They looked her over and ran 1 test. They found that it was Tick Fever & all she had to do was take a pill for 2 months. Now, she is playing & as happy as ever & so am I. I will never ever take any of my animals to Orange Grove Animal again. Do not trust your beloved animals lives to them but it's up to you... I'd give them a -5 but I can't.

Competent & Friendly Staff, clean facility, convienent hours

We woke up one morning to find one of our cats had developed a UTI. We called Orange Grove and they worked us into their schedule to see her that day. The staff were friendly and courteous. The vet appeared competent and confident, and she and her assistant checked and handled our cat firmly but gently. Our cat responded to the vet well and seemed calmed by the vet and her assistant. The vet asked us lots of questions and always asked if we had more questions after she explained something. The vet gave us a couple of options for treatment and explained the pro's and con's of each and gave us printed quotations so we could see the price difference for each. When we chose an injection treatment rather than an oral tablet treatment the vet gave us the option of bringing our cat back for the second treatment or offered to teach us to give the injection so we could give the second shot at home and not have to subject our cat to another car ride. We highly recommend Orange Grove!!

Wonderful

Our dogs have been going here for at least 4 years. They are so kind and good with them. They seem to be conservative with shot frequency which I love. Also, if my dogs get nervous and aren't perfectly behaved they don't appear to be bothered by it at all and certainly don't scold me about it.
