General Info: The Wynantskill Fire Department offers fire suppression, rescue and emergency medical services for residents. The department preserves and protects residents lives and their properties. It maintains a communication center that coordinates responses to fire, police and medical emergencies. The department employs firefighters and prevention and investigation officers. The Wynantskill Fire Department maintains a fleet of life support ambulances and staff utility vehicles. The department conducts fire extinguisher training, child car seat inspections and juvenile fire-setter educational sessions. It also maintains a prevention bureau that provides fire and life safety education for residents. The department maintains a location in Wynantskill, N.Y.
