They overcharge and push for u...

They overcharge and push for unnecessary repairs. Recently took my Golf in for a clutch repair - was quoted $2100 for clutch and flywheel. After calling around to 6-7 shops, they all said it was unlikely that the flywheel would need replacing, and all were under $900. Got it repaired at a shop specializing in imports (John & Holger) for $650. After complaining about this and previous repairs (They charged me over $2200 for repairs I now believe were also overcharged and perhaps also unnecessary), they asked me to bring the car in to allow them to complete some additional repairs at NC to make it up to me - only to have them QUOTE me another $1000+. They even had the new parts on, and removed them when I wouldn't approve their over-inflated rates. Then to add insult to injury, they put 40 miles on my car to "test drive" it. Deceptive practices, price gouging, and lack of ethics.

Don't Purchase Here!

We purchased a used car from this dealership and the Salesperson will tell you what ever they need to sell you the car. They told my mother that the car will go thru 150 point inspection and if anything was wrong with the car he couldn't sell it to her. Well the next day after we picked the car up and took it to a shop and found that it needed the following: Shocks, Struts, Strut and Shock Mounts, Front Brake, Rear Brakes, Rotors, balljoints and light socket. They said they did a 30 point inspections when we picked the car up but they didn't have the slip to tell us what was done. Went back to the dealership the following morning and they said from the inspections the only thing came back was it need 2 front tires. Just be careful when purchasing a "As is" car without a warranty. Make sure you have a mechanic to check the car before you purchase it.

Overall
Great Dealership

The service and parts departments are very good. Always flexible and nice when a service appt can't be met. I have not had any repairs over the past 10 years that I have had to return to the dealership to have the issue revisited. I have not had the experience of working with the sales department as I bought my car at a different dealership shortly before moving here. However, the overall vibe of the showroom is always upbeat, bright and clean.
