Shirley's Tippy Canoe

My husband and I recently made a trip to the Tippy Canoe with our 2 year old son. It was early on a weekend and the restaurant was empty. Instead of being offered a table to look over the river, we were sat directly behind the front door. Service was non-existent until other couples showed up. They received the happy greetings and offered a good table. Food options for my son to eat was minimal at best. The prices were overinflated for what we were served. My son accidentally spilled his almost full, LARGE glass of juice (they had nothing smaller for him!) and we were not even offered any more to replace it.

They need to have a more family friendly atmosphere. They need to welcome ALL customers equally and not make families with small children feel like a burden. It doesn't have to be busy to ask for good service from the staff. If they hope to draw any more families, having a menu and utensils for the smaller children is a must (even just a cup with a lid).
