Sprint

Do not do business with these people!! We decided to switch to Sprint from AT&T on October 2, 2015. We went to the store and spoke about plan rates. We expressed our concern about what we could afford to pay each month, and we were ASSURED our monthly payment would be less than $150. Our bill arrived yesterday and it is $213. There are no "one time only" fees indicated on the bill. This is the amount we are screwed into paying for the next 2 years. Why aren't these people made accountable for quotes they give a person??? They can charge us ANY amount and we have to pay it because we have a contract. They can quote ANY price regardless of whether or not it is accurate. How is this sort of practice allowed to take place??? Where is the consumer protection on being told one number and getting another one extremely higher??? We cannot afford to pay $213 a month for 2 years, and I cannot believe these cell phone companies can outright lie to a person and they receive no repercussions!! I filed a complaint with the FTC. This company is out of control.
