Traverse City VA Outpatient Clinic

I've recently retired from the Navy and was in Traverse City visiting family this past fall. I came down with an upper respiratory infection while visiting and I went to the VA outpatient clinic to be seen. I explained my symptoms to the front desk as well as the woman that checked me in and explicitly told them both that I was service connected for both Bronchitis and Sinusitis and I knew from experience that I had one. The woman that checked me in went and spoke to the "physician" and returned with a piece of paper that explained what to do for a common cold and I was told to take Benadryl and that was it. I wasn't even seen. Complete laziness. Luckily my non-VA doctor referred me to urgent care and I was given the proper medications to get rid of the infection.



I feel bad for the vets in the Traverse City area who's only choice is to come here. I won't even waste my time here in the future.
