Happistance Complete Veterinary Care

My family has been going to Happistance since it opened & we've known Dr. Joy Morris since before she & Dr. MaryNan Ellenburg opened their practice & are the best vets in the area. They were very good with my scared dog, who always tried to run for the door! Dr. Joy was her vet for almost 18 years, my sister's Westie had cancer & lived for almost 17 yrs. thanks to their expertise. Dr. MaryNan & Dr. Joy cared for my outdoor cat after she possibly got poisoned & were extremely compassionate about letting me know when her kidneys failed & it was time to make that awful decision. They even made a paw-print keepsake of her 6 toes for me. Their sweet, professional staff are all very good with animals. I wouldn't go anywhere else & I highly recommend them even if you don't live in Anderson county!❤️😺🐶🐴❤️

The veterinarians and staff at Happistance are extremely caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional. They love and treat your pets as if they were their own. In regards to Donna H’s review and comments, her dogs were boarding at Happistance and put together as requested until the 78 pound unpredictable bad-natured chow became too aggressive towards the little shihtzu. For the little dog’s safety and well-being, the dogs were put in separate runs across from each other for boarding and eating. They could still see each other for closeness and security but this kept the small dog out of danger. When the owners were informed of this they became irate and unreasonably volatile, but the safety of the pets in the care of Happistance is paramount. Interestingly, both children of this family recently obtained new puppies and chose Happistance as their vet even though one of them lives over 35 miles away.

Had been taking our two dogs there for two years for vet care and boarding. Had picked them up for boarding on numerous occasions with them assuring us they were good all was fine. Called to check on them this last boarding and come to find out without any prior knowledge let us know our dogs were not staying in the same kennel area together as asked nor have they been feeding them like we had asked. Instead of being honest about the situation on hand they had been having they had been telling us all was well everytime we picked them up and were together and fed as asked which had not been the case for the last 3 boards. They had been lieing to us and after being caught in the lies tried to back peddle out of it, all they cared about was getting the money. We trusted that they were being cared for as asked and the trust was for sure broken many times without us even knowing. You never know what is being done behind closed doors , be cautious who cares for your fur babies .

I have been bringing all of my pets here for almost 20 years. Dr. Morris and Dr. Ellenberg are very thorough in all they do, and also keep you informed about what is best for your pet to keep them healthy and safe.
The kindness and compassion they show is genuine! They really care about animals. I know this because on several occasions I was told of things I could do on my own that would save me money or they would suggest treating and keeping them overnight for observation (when I come in over reacting to something) instead of doing lots of expensive and unnecessary tests, x-rays or other things to drain my bank and make their wallets fat, as I have experienced before with several other vets in the past.
I cannot say enough good things about them. They are great at what they do and have devoted their lives to providing the best care available to all animals.
