        Gene is a professional educator with 43 years of experience instructing students and adults on "How to plan, design, build and finish woodworking projects. Since the economy has gone sour he has developed the building of wood projects more economical. Example: a coffee table built out of walnut, oak or cherry would cost $40 to $80 just for the wood. The same coffee table build out of 2 x 4 construction lumber would cost under $12. It is just as stylish and strong and this lumber has beautiful grain. He also has a BS and MS degree in Industrial Arts Education plus 50 years of experience in all types of construction, remodeling, furniture building, repairing antiques and finishing.
