Worst place ever. brought stuff to sell lady said only would buy four outfits. When i got home looked through the items they didn't take found out several items i brought were now missing. They never paid me for these items. The ladies working were very rude and clearly didn't want to be there. Gave one star but should be a negative star

I am so disappointed. I bought a lot of clothing on Columbus Day, not even realizing that they were having a 20% off sale that day. The manager, Theresa, seemed to be overjoyed that I was buying so many things. She kept thanking me profusely, which did seem a bit odd to me. (In retrospect, Theresa's over-the-top gratitude for my purchases, feels suspect. Perhaps she is the owner/manager and is having cash flow problems. I think she may have made a very conscious decision that she was going to do whatever was necessary to get this sale, even if it meant lying about store policy.) Especially because I did have so many things, I asked Theresa about the return policy--not once--multiple times. She said that I could return anything that I was buying as long as it was within 7 days. After checkout I confirmed with her, again, about returns. She highlighted the 7 day policy on the receipt. I read it, and I also noticed that the policy said no returns on clearance items. So I explicitly asked, are any of these items clearance items? I don't want to buy any clearance items because my children are not here to try them on. She said, "No. Nothing that you are buying is a clearance item. This is simply a store-wide Columbus Day sale. Everything you are purchasing is returnable within 7 days." When you buy hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise without being able to to try them on for size, it's inevitable that some of the items won't fit and will need to be returned. Well, you can guess the punchline ... when I went to return the things that didn't fit my children, the return was refused! I was so upset. The person in charge of the store yesterday evening called Theresa at home. Theresa claimed to not remember me or our conversation about returns. This is hard to imagine given that we spoke at some length. She even shared some personal matters with me, which I was able to relate to the sales staff to corroborate my claims. During the phone call with her staff member, Theresa wanted to know how many items I was returning. What did that have to do with anything? I wasn't asking for an exception to their rules. I was demanding that they honor their return policy. I basically consider what they've done theft. I called my credit card company. I will be getting the money from the entire sale credited to my account. But I still need to return the items that I don't want because I can't use them. And, conversely, I want to pay for the items I am keeping. I was so excited to try out this store. I always shop consignment--but usually I go to the big twice a year sales. I thought this would be an alternative to fighting the crowds at those sales. It is so sad when poor customer service tarnishes what is essentially a very good product that fills a need in the community.

I wish I could give it less than one star. A horrible atmosphere to be in. I took two children in and one noticed that the manager was slamming things, shouting at workers, and interrupting transactions to make rude and snide comments. Also there were young children operating the register. Every customer looked at each other and we shared an overwhelming sense of discomfort. Someone running things needs to wake up and get this egomaniac off the floor and out of the position of manager.
