How Do They Work?
Botox Cosmetic, Xeomin and Dysport work by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles, by reducing muscle activity that cause frown lines, crow's feet and wrinkles. As we age, our skin loses elasticity, so using "toxins" (Botox, Dysport and Xeomin) can help aid in the worsening of lines and wrinkles. These products are not a cure - and do not eliminate the aging process, but do prevent muscle fibers from contracting and lines and wrinkles worsening
How Much Will I Need?
During the time of consult, a certified nurse injector or physician will provide face-mapping and suggested dosage for optimal results. Dosage varies based on severity of lines, wrinkles and the number and size of areas treated. Dosing for Dysport/Botox/Xeomin are based on a recommended dosage per treatment area(s)
What Is a Treatment Area?
Treatment areas are considered specific areas of the face such as the forehead, crow's feet, eyebrows and Glabella
Why Should I Consider This Treatment?
The aging process, and years of squinting, smiling, and frowning can causes skin to furrow and crease. As time passes, skin becomes less elastic and lines worsen. Toxins provide a noticeable difference, with noticeable results, helping to smooth lines and wrinkles. The sooner the treatment is started, the less that is needed as you age. For best results, it is recommended that areas are treated two to four times a year
Who Should Not Be Treated?
Botox/Dysport/Xeomin are not recommended for those who have a skin infection - and should NOT be used on anyone allergic to any of the ingredients in these neuro-toxins. It is also not recommended for those nursing or pregnant
How Long Does It Take?
Results vary, and typically peak at two to three weeks. Most people start to see a difference within 3 - 5 days. Results have been known to last up to 4 months

Steps To Get the Best Sunless Tan!

Waxing should be done 24-48 hours prior to tanning.
Exfoliate your body, head to toe, with a non-oil based exfoliate or Rami mitt and a gentle sulphate free body wash. If time allows exfoliate more than once before your session, especially if you don't do it regularly. Please stay away from soap especially Dove, deodorant bars and other highly commercialized products
If you have sensitive skin or are pregnant, please inform us before your session.

When you take your post-shower, please refrain from hot showers.
Warm showers help your tan last longer and prevent drying of your skin. Pat dry with a towel and have a high-quality lotion ready to use head to toe; for example our Silk Extender does wonders. Stay away from anti-aging or acne products, as they are designed to remove dead skin which fades your tan quicker
Avoid exfoliates
Hot tubs and excessive swimming and sweating which can also fade your tan more quickly. Its best to take a shower immediately after working out to get the sweat off your skin, the same with chlorine or salt water
How well you prepare and care for your tan will determine how long it will last.
Many of our clients tell us on average one session lasts about 7-10 days
