Sunshine Health Foods

I've been in there many many times they are very helpful and very knowledgeable and very empathetic to your needs seems a little expensive but I find that pretty common with nutrition and health food now. It's easy to eat cheap food but quality products are going to cost you unfortunately.

My wife and I are disabled and without a car and my wife was in terrible need of a supplement used to treat Tachycardia. She was under tremendous stress and her heart rate was too fast. We moved to Titusville about two weeks ago and were unable to drive over to Sunshine. Not only did the Manager deliver it but he was over our house in ten minutes. My wife's heart rate settled down within an hour of taking the supplement.

This is a fine store that carries both bulk and packaged healthfoods. They offer health testing services, and they are the only health food store I know of in Brevard to offer self health test kits.

I've been going into Sunshine for over two decades now. It is a great health food store.

In my opinion, there is a not so sunny side to Sunshine Health Foods in Titusville, FL. I have been there on 3 separate occasions and I have been disatisfied each and every time. Unfortunatley...the third time is a "charm" and I will not be returning. Especially since at the last visit...I was humiliated in front of several other customers by the clerk for just being nice and asking a simple question. I want to believe that the employees were just having a bad day (hmmm...coincidentally 3 visits in a row????) but I please beg of them to not take it out on there customers...especially with a wilting economy...that's bad karma baby! I consider myself to be a gentle person so I left without any confrontation but I feel that the best way to get back at a business for providing poor customer service is to warn others of a possibly unpleasant shopping experience. If you have also had an unpleasant experience at Sunshine Health Foods...THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS in the small town of Titusville, FL. I found a Natural Health Store on Garden Street at the Old Garden Street Depot. It is called Nature's Provider. They just opened up a few month's ago so they have a smaller selection but give them your time and attention and I am cetain they will offer more products. They are always pleasant and can order anything for you if you simply ask. Oh...and did I mention that there prices are MORE competitive. The lady that runs it truly seems passionate about her business...there is even a small cafe with natural/organic offerings. If you are looking for a better selection and are willing to drive the distance there is Sunseed Food Co-Op in Cape Canaveral or Wild Oats in Melbourne. There is also great shopping on the internet!...tons of sites with below retail prices such as www.vitacost.com. I hope this review will help others that love to be healthy but hate to be treated poorly.
