I was gladly surprised to see a univeristy actually reflect the research findings in education.

Using a cohort model instead of the stark competitive model to education demonstrates Cal Lutheran's integrity

in offering programs that actually provide an environment conducive to teaching and learning. Once students

get a taste of the cohort model, they won't see traditional educational models as a viable alternative.

Hurray, for California Lutheran University, it's ranks at the top in the secular world. Holding students responsible

for recognizing their strengths and well as strengths of others.
