Thomasville High School is a public school that enrolls more than 750 students. It is a part of Thomasville City Schools and provides academic and college preparatory education to students in grades nine through 12. The school s curriculum includes English, foreign languages, mathematics, science and social studies. Additionally, the school provides career and technical education that includes courses in marketing, digital communication systems, e-commerce, health, construction trades, food and culinary arts, and family and consumer science. Thomasville High School organizes various extracurricular activities, such as art, music, choir, summer camps and field trips. It also offers a Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program, and student clubs and organizations. The high school has a media center that provides fiction and nonfiction books, encyclopedias, audiovisual aids, computer workstations, and newspapers and magazines. Additionally, the school provides various sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, football, soccer, golf, wrestling and tennis. The high school is located in Thomasville, N.C.
