Sumter Landing Dental Care

In the past I have been very reluctant to go to any Dentist. I went to Sumter landing Dental care, because of a chipped tooth. They were wonderful, I then had all my Dental care done by them. I highly recommend them to anyone. There was no pain at all.

Wonderful cleaning by Tiffany. She knows her stuff. Highly recommend using Sumter Landing Dental Care! I did not wait to be seen, educated me on my teeth. I look forward to my next visit.

I am very upset. I paid almost 2,000 for partial. Eat a crunchy piece of bread and brake a tooth only a couple of months later. They want to charge me over 200 to fix it. They did a bad job. I was unhappy when I originally got it, they tried to fix. Now this happened. 2000 for a partial I can't wear. Go somewhere else where they actually have as a lab and better customer service.

Have fired this dentist. Had my teeth cleaned and sat and waited more than 30 minutes to see the dentist for a check-up. Not sure if the staff messed up or the dentist didn't care. Not going back will find another dentist. Also think they are ripping people off.

I am not one to complain, but this is the worst experience I have ever had with a dentist. The staff is very nice don't get me wrong. The flipper that they fitted me for never fit. I went in for a routine fill and left in excruciating pain. This dentist over filled my fillings and attached three of my teeth, I went later that afternoon to and had another local dentist fix what they had done. I had received a est. for work and it was for somewhere around 12K and the other dentist looked at my teeth and for everything 3K. Please beware also look on talk of the villages others have had similar experiences.

This office and specifically the dentists are awesome. The staff is great too and I have gotten great cleanings from two of their hygienists. They will really work with you on their rates and have a few different options for payment, I was approved right away and so far the work I have had done is stellar. Not my favorite thing to go to the dentist but if I have to do it, at least it really helps to have a clean, nice office to go to. The location is really convenient too - right across the street from Barnes and Noble in Sumter Landing on Old Camp Rd. I have been to a few sketchy and downright awful dentists in my day and I will tell you this office is the best by far that I have ever been to. I won't ever go anywhere else in The Villages. I also heard they opened a second location in Summerfield right near Wal-Mart so for anyone over in that area, I would recommend checking them out. If I had to mention a downside I would say that this office is pretty busy, but honestly they do a great job at being accommodating to all their patients and especially emergencies, so it is understandable the few times they have been behind when I was there. I was always given the opportunity in a courteous manner to reschedule or wait and I chose to wait and it ended up being not even as long as they said. I appreciate that they know their patients' time is just as valuable as theirs. it makes waiting much easier. I was also told by the receptionist, Jessica, that they are not taking Preferred Care after October so they will be able to devote the time and attention to each patient that they deserve since those patients do take up a lot of the appointment slots currently. I have seen almost every dentist there for various reasons by my own choice including Dr. Fisher, Dr. Perry, Dr. Owen, and Dr. Pitel. (Yes, I have a lot of work needed on my mouth!) I like that they have several to choose from and have not felt the need to stick with one or the other because they are all very competent and friendly which can be unusual for dentists! I know if I wanted one in particular though they would be fine with that as they always offer for me to come back to my same dentist and hygienist. I hope this helps any new Villagers, I guess I'm done, as you can see I just cannot say enough about this terrific office!
