Located in The Plains, Ohio, Athens High School is a part of the Athens City School District. The school has a wide range of departments, including English, mathematics, science and social studies. Additionally, the school offers classes in technology education and world languages. The athletics department offers a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, cross country, football, swimming, wrestling, and track and field. Athens High School also has departments for arts, health and physical education and family and consumer science. The school has various clubs that include Spanish, French, drama and ecology.
