Opportunities is a local nonprofit organization that provides developmental and support services to children and adults with special needs. It offers various children services, such as early identification screening, infant development, family support, speech and language therapy, special instruction, preschool activities, transportation and case management. It also offers a wide range of specialized adult services that includes work activity, job training, living skills, money management, nursing, home making and socialization. It has a senior day center that provides a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, music, exercise program, bingo and games, armchair volleyball, karaoke, guest speakers and dancing. The organization was established in 1966 and is located in Texarkana, Texas.
