Comet Cleaners

They damaged my brand new wedding dress then when I asked for a refund they gave me the run around for a week. First said to take pictures (which I did) then a few days later said the check was on the manager's desk but a manager had to release it. Then told my husband he would bring the check up to his work on a Monday which turned into no it will be Wednesday then turned into bring the dress up here for the owner to see. My husband dropped the dress off last week then today when I asked where my dress was, I was told by two different employees at two different Comet locations that they had no idea where my dress was and didn't know anything about my situation. Finally a person named "Mike" (nobody would give a last name) called me and proceeded to blame me and my husband for "not pushing to talk to a manager". I explained that we did in fact ask for one and was told one wasn't available then was told he would get in touch with us. Someone this "Mike" still blamed me and my husband rather than trying to fix the situation. He then proceeded to tell me he would speak with the worker at the cleaners (who was supposedly fired as my husband was told) to "see if my story checks out." Yes, this was the response from a MANAGER. He then hung up on me after saying he would call me back the next day. RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL people. I filed a report with the BBB. Be warned people, I've never encountered behavior like this from a business ever before in my life.
