Academy Sports + Outdoors

I love this store. I go there often, but I'd like to tell you about an experience I had on Christmas eve. I went in there actually clueless on what I would buy my hubby, an avid sportsman and gun collector. I walked by the gun department and was instantly asked if I needed help. I explained why I was wandering aimlessly, and after a few minute discussion with a very helpful and knowledgeable associate, we had a very nice shotgun picked out. He walked me through the paperwork, showed me how to assemble it, and even carried it to my car after I purchased it. His experience had me finished with my hubby's gift in under 30 minutes. WOW that's what I said to myself when I got into my car afterwards. ( Not to mention that it was on sale almost $200 off!) By the way, my husband LOVED his gift. Thanks again Academy!

I love Academy! You can not only find sports equipment but everyday clothing and shoes at a reasonable price. In Temple it has the largest shoe selection. It carries everything!

This was a excellent place to shop.Prices are very reasonable and alot to choose from. I will be going back for more shoes and clothing.

Like a candy store for grown ups.
