Overall

We received an envelope, that did not belong to us, nothing new, we always do, and I have always returned it, and kindly asked them to remove those individuals from our mailing address. I had intended to return it, just had not been to town. On the second day, I was greeted by a pounding that was relentless. I was apprehensive to answer, cause I did not recognize the vehicle. We have had several individuals show up at that door trying to sell us something, or preach, or try to buy the neighbor's property from us, etc. Every person that knows us does not go to that door. However, my husband was trying to sleep (he's a 3rd shifter), and the pounding was getting louder-it sounded as though the window on the door would shatter at any moment, which left me no choice but to answer it. I answered the door, and was greeted by an angry woman who flashed her badge and stated she was the post master of the Tekonsha post office, and that we had a piece of mail that did not belong to us. I told her I had full intentions of returning it, and I went and got it for her. She acted as though it was our wrong doing, and I feel as though we were treated as a thief. Words cannot describe how unprofessional the post master handled this situation. I do not know what gives her the right to come at our door like that, but I certainly hope they can take responsibility for their own actions in the future, and not treat a customer, at no fault, with such disrespect, as I was that day.
