ASAP Urgent Care Center

I arrived at the facility at 1:52pm and they opened at 2pm. I went in after another person and signed in. He signed in and checked off he had an appt. at 2pm. Shortly after, many more people came in and signed in after me. I waited 70min. to be seen and in that time everyone who came in after me except 1 person was seen including the family member of 1 doc who just walked in. When I asked what the order was I was told these other people had appts. with the nurse and the PA saw walk-ins. Still made no sense because I was the 1st walk-in. When I finally was seen it was by a nurse not a PA so their story made no sense. There was no dr there as their website states. I was happy with the nurse who I finally did see but not happy with how this facility is run. Worse urgent care I've ever been to. I checked out and was charged but given NO discharge papers or anything. Just a credit card receipt. Unfortunately, there aren't many options on the Keys but I don't recommend this place.It is now several months later and I receive a bill for my visit that I paid over 1 month ago and this business has cashed the payment. I called to resolve this and was put on hold over 1 hr. while they were looking into it. I finally hung up and called later and asked for the office mgr's name. Was told she was in and they transferred me to her only to find out it was the same women I was speaking with earlier. She asked me again for the information. I told her I was on hold over an hour...she said she was called away to a meeting????? Then why not come back on the line and tell me this? Never was resolved as her solution was to put me on hold again while she looked for the payment. I now have proof from my bank and will mail it to them. I wouldn't recommend them for care or service...they were horrible all around.

Besides being a great guy he is a caring and well informed doctor.
