Walmart - Tire & Lube Express

DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE!!!. I went there for a simple oil change. After waiting an hour and a half they informed me that they striped my oil pan when removing the plug. They then told me to get an estimate for a new oil pan and bring it to them which I did and I also filled out a form for their insurance. They told me that they would be in touch in a couple weeks. No one ever called. When I finally called them to see what was going on they told me that they had no record of ever having stripped my oil pan.. I pushed the issue with the store manager and she said that she watched the video from the time in question. and said that my car was in the garage but no one ever went under it and no one ever put oil in it but somehow they knew that it was stripped and documented it on my receipt(oil pan/plug is on the underside of the motor). Thankfully I pushed them until they admitted the truth.

After trying to call ahead to confirm a certain item is in stock I was politely transferred to the department. After being transferred I waited for 50 (I counted) rings before I quit and hung up.



I hope my experiences in the future are better. If I do get better results, I will give them an upgraded review.



By the way, this was at 10:30am, I would think people would be at work by this time.

After my 3rd call I spoke with the asst, mgr. (Nick). He stopped everything he was doing and walked (didn't called) to 2 seperate departments to resolve my issue.



Because of his prompt and courteous service I have changed my 2 star rating to a 5 star rating.
