Shoney's

We walked in the door it was my husband, my father in law and myself. It was Saturday night around 7:30. They were not busy. When we walked in the door the hostess was on the phone. She grabbed 3 menus and said here and shoved them in my hands. The girl who was seating came back to seat us and the hostess said I gave her the menus. The other girl looked like she couldn’t believe it and said “really.” They sat us down and the waitress takes our drink order I order a sweet tea which was so sweet I couldn’t drink it and had to order something else. The two guys got the seafood bar. To start with the seafood bar had more American food than seafood. The shrimp was over cooked and soggy. The clam chowder was watered down. There was hair in some of the salad dressing. And the fried shrimp was out the second they put it out. The shrimp was the only real seafood on it. I ordered the half o pound and it came with about a cup of onions and no gravy. The only good thing about our trip was the waitress. If your food continues to be like this I can’t imagine you will be open too much longer!!!

The food and service is reasonably good but the building is older and in need of remodeling/repair.
