I had reservations with Capital Parking for Apr 27th for 5 nights at the Port of Tampa. I received an email the night of Apr 26th advising me of a location change. Good thing I checked my email on my phone or I would have never received the information, even though they had my cell number where they could have either called or sent a text message about the location change. When I arrived at the new location, I decided IMMEDIATELY that I was NOT parking my truck here for several hours, much less for 5 nights. I advised the parking attendant that was there with a van that I did not feel comfortable and that I was going to make other arrangements on my own. He gave me a business card and told me to talk to Jimmy. I called the number on the business card and left a voice mail. I also emailed the company back from the night before advising that their location was unsecure and unsafe. I never received any communication back from Capital Parking. Upon return of my cruise, I drove by this same lot and the same parking attendant remembered me from before and I mentioned to him that I still had not received any communication from his company. He again took down my name and number and told me that someone would call me THAT day. It is now 5 days later and I have not received ANY communication from anyone from Capital Parking. I am now in the process of letting the Credit Card Company deal with them because I am refusing to pay for a service that I never used!! I would never recommend this company to anyone for use!!

DON'T PARK HERE UNLESS YOU HAV...

DON'T PARK HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE NOTHING IN YOUR CAR TO STEAL. I ALWAYS HAVE MY IPOD TOUCH IN MY CAR AT ALL TIMES. LEFT FOR A FLIGHT AND LEFT THE KEYS WITH THESE SCUM! COME BACK AND LEAVE THE LOT ABOUT TO TURN ON MUSIC AND NO IPOD TOUCH. I LOOK IN THE CENTER CONSOLE WHERE I PUT IT AND ITS GOT THE SAME WHITE DUST THAT'S ALL OVER THE CAR FROM THE PARKING LOT. SOMEONE'S HANDS WERE OBVIOUSLY IN THERE WHILE I WAS GONE FOR 2 DAYS. CALLED THE MANAGER AND HE SAID IT WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT PUTTING IT AWAY. BETTER TO PAY THE EXTRA PARKING CHARGE AT THE AIRPORT AND BE SURE NOTHING GOES MISSING! NEVER AGAIN!

Went looking for a reasonably ...

Went looking for a reasonably priced parking lot near Tampa Airport for my son to park when flying out of TPA. Found Capital Parking on W. Cypress St and reviews seemed pretty good, rate was great so gave it a try. Major mistake. Do not trust this lot if you value your car.



Car was dropped off in a self park lot with a full take of gas. First they tried to have him park in a spot that was way too small for his car (he drives a Scion TC so not a big car to start with). Then they insisted he leave his car keys (but isn't this a self park lot???). So when he returned he found the following: 1) car was down a quarter of a tank of gas, 2) car is covered in mud, 3) car is full of fire ants. Unfortunately he did not record the mileage.



So, ok I am a reasonable person and businesses have issues from time to time so I called the office, stated I had a issue and wanted to speak with someone. Jonathan returned my car. You will have to trust me when I say, I called calmly, did not raise my voice and started to explain our experience. Started by stating that the car was down a 1/4 tank of gas. Jonathan starts yelling at me stating that this just couldn't be the case. I stated that I was not raising my voice, I wanted to discuss calmly and he yells at me that he is not raising his voice (but still freaking out). I stated that the car was only moved to their valet lot 1 block up the street (so why are they moving any cars from the self park lot to the valet lot??? Why don't they direct the driver to take their car up their and park in the first place??? Any ways, more yelling from Jonathan and I finally said, forget it, no body damage was done (thankfully) and so if he didn't want to discuss (mind you, I never once in the call asked for anything) then I would post a bad review on as many sites as possible so others don't have this issue and ended the call as Jonathan is screaming into the phone "I am sure you will, I am sure you will, I am sure you will".



So you have been warned. :) Spend the few extra bucks and protect your car at one of the better lots.

I parked my car at the airport...

I parked my car at the airport lot for a week and when I came back, my car had a dent in the rear bumper and some scratches. The Parking lot attendant was nice and helpful, took pictures and information down on his iPad to show to the manager. The company did not contact us about this problem and when we contacted them we had very poor customer service from the manager, John. He rudely hung up on us several times and even tried to pretend that he did not know about the problems that we had at their parking lot. After several attempts to speak to someone other than the manager, we got contact info for the Owner?, Jimmy Alfonso. I have contacted him several times in the past 2 weeks and he just states that our info has been sent to their insurance and that nothing can be done until they contact him. I feel as if we are just getting the run around and that they will not actually ever take care of this problem. **It has been 34 days since my care was damaged on this lot.



The parking for this lot is cheap and convenient since it is close to the airport with 24 hour shuttle service but I would definitely NOT recommend this lot to anyone. If you want to take your chances on parking your car here, go for it but if there is damage to your car, then you are most likely out of luck.



Other problems with this company:

1. We thought it would be self parking, but the attendant told us upon arrival that it was valet only. They keep your car keys because they move your car to another lot that they don't show you or tell you about.

2. No air conditioning in the van, which the driver did apologize for, but no air conditioning in Florida?! After reading some reviews, it appears that this has happened on other occasions as well.

These people scratched my car ...

These people scratched my car while in their posession then refused to pay for it. The lot man i showed it to agreed that it was obvious that they had done it. His boss then refused to take responsability for it.

This review is false. The customer had damage to his car prior to parking at our airport facility. We have a signed and dated damage waiver that the owner signed off on during check-in clearly stating he had damage to his car in the spot where he is claiming reimbursement.

Wonderful service. When we go...

Wonderful service. When we got there they called the shuttle while we were filling out paperwork. He unloaded the car, parked it, gave us the key back and loaded the shuttle. Very friendly and professional. When we got to the airport we waited about 5-10 minutes and the shuttle was there. Same thing again we never lifted a bag. I would highly recommend Capital Parking.

Paid $4.99 a day instead of $15 at the port garage. Shuttle was on-time and service was great. Will use again.

I valet parked my car at Grill...

I valet parked my car at Grille 54 Citrus park last weekend. Not only were they very fast and respectful but i accidentally tipped the valet $100. I got in my car to drive away and the valet knocked on my window to tell me that I gave him too much. I was very grateful and tipped him $20 for his honesty. This is probably the only parking company that would do what they did. I would recommend capital parking to any business that is looking for a trusted parking service.

I parked in one of their lots ...

I parked in one of their lots for a post season Tampa Bay Rays game. The attendant helped us with directions and even showed us the fastest way to get to the interstate after the game. Plus, they were 50% cheaper than the main parking at the stadium and only a couple minutes down the street on foot. Will definitely park with them again next season.

Parked my ride with these guys in Ybor. I don't do anything but valet in Ybor and these guys were great. I promised the valet I would write a review because they were just so nice, especially with our rowdy crowd.

I used the Capital Parking val...

I used the Capital Parking valet service at Acropolis Greek Taverna in St. Petersburg this past Saturday. It was raining cats and dogs and the valet (I think his name tag said Zach) was working his tail off. He even wiped the seat down before I got in. Excellent service and will definitely use them again when I come back to eat!

I let them valet my car at Grill 54 I left A dollar on the floor to test valet which I always do. When car was reTurned money was gone plus my seat was moved back. The attendant was very dirty and got mud all over my front mat. I will never use this service at any locations they are at.
