Breezin Entertainment

I've seen them use inexperienced people all the time. Apparently they don't pay their employees very well so they use substandard DJ's and don't prepare well in advance. These people are a joke and they shouldn't be in business. They operate in an area where the demographics call for more Hispanic services but they don't feel the need to provide authentic vendors. Playing "La Bamba" or the theme from the Taco Bell commercial doesn't make you an expert in Latin music! Have some respect! Most of all stop destroying the hard work others are trying to do!

The wedding took place last weekend at the Sheraton Riverwalk in Tampa. The bride asked for a young hip and talented DJ. Young was all they got. Breezin' Entertainment sent a young kid who was extremely inexperienced as a DJ with no MC Skills whatsoever. Many disappointments throughout the evening.



She had paid for Up Lighting around the room. As the DJ was setting up his sound system, someone else came by and dropped off the Up Lights (they did not set them up). This kid (the DJ) then began setting them up on the floor around the dance floor. The staff tried to talk with him about the normal way of setting them up. The main manager actually came by and showed him a picture on how normally the Up Lights are to be set up. So obviously, this kid has never even seen or dealt with Up Lights.



The introductions were atrocious! He kept pausing and having these long awkward breaks between announcing the wedding party. He was also unsure on how to sequence other formals during the night; such as the toasting and cake cutting. It was ridiculous!



The bride gave him a strict list of songs to play from, which he barely adhered too. No one was dancing. I had to come up and suggest songs to get people on the dance floor (which worked). I had to "hold his hand" through most of the evening with song choices.



We heard from the property staff that this was the second horrible DJ in a row that Breezin' Entertainment had sent out to this venue. Breezin' Entertainment says they have the best DJs in all of Florida. What a joke!!! DO NOT TRUST YOUR SPECIAL DAY WITH BREEZIN' ENTERTAINMENT...THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY, PROMISE A LOT OF WONDERFUL THINGS, AND THEN RUIN YOUR SPECIAL DAY!
