DO NOT GO HERE FOR HAIR REMOVAL!!!!!!!! The sugar wax is highly UNSANITARY because the therapists "double dip" with will little to no regard that hair removal in the involves blood borne pathogens. I previously wrote a glowing review on this salon as it is one of the few places in Tampa that offers sugaring. Sugaring, as a hair removal procedure, has the ability to be the most sanitary practice out there if practiced in a sanitary way.

Generally, sugaring involves a ball of sugar (one per client) that is spread on the skin and then the hair is removed. Once finished, the ball is thrown away. Where one gets into problems is when sugaring is applied with a spatula and then removed with strips in a similar fashion to waxing, especially when therapists double dip. Should spatulas that touch multiple people's sensitive areas be re-dipped into a communal pot? think not! Neither wax nor sugar is hot enough or contains ingredients that are safe from spreading bacteria, fungi, or viruses among clients. Not only did the therapist double-dip but she also argued about how it was not an issue in the same breath as saying that many of the people who come in are not clean "down there" and bleed profusely. News flash people: Double-dipping is unsanitary and there is a ton of research out there that proves this. Do not trust your health to this place. Smooth skin is not worth the risk of cross-contamination. Don't let ANYONE tell you that this is not risk. And, for the record, spatulas cost less than a penny so there is NO EXCUSE for therapists to continue this unsafe practice. As a licensed skin care therapist, I say NEVER get a Brazilian here. EVER.

Wonderful environment! Great group of girls! Been looking for a while for a new salon. Got to experience sugar waxing for the first time! Amazing. Best part no bacteria can grow in wax- it was super clean and sterile. For the first time ever I had no weird bumps after! Sold! I also got to enjoy the hair side of the house, Erika was amazing! Love my hair! Love this place.
