The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is a part of the Florida Department of Education. The division specializes in providing rehabilitation programs to people with mental and physical disabilities. It offers independent living and migrant and seasonal farmworker programs. Its migrant and seasonal farmworker program provides maintenance and transportation services to migrants and their families. The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation offers an injured workers program that specializes in rehabilitation and reemployment of Florida's injured workers. The division also operates crisis intervention and early referral programs. In addition, it organizes conferences, seminars and workshops. The division employs more than 1,000 staff members and maintains over 100 field offices in various cities throughout Florida. The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is headquartered in Tallahassee, Fla.
