The Loft On Gaines

Loft on Gaines is a great location and the rooms are spacious. The management is a pleasure to work with.

Loved the location in college town and the units are very nice and upscale. Definitely the place to be.

- Beautiful apartments, great condition, brand new appliances

- Washer/dryer in unit at no extra cost

- Maintenance is friendly and helpful

- Units are clean and well taken care of, apartment quality is fantastic

- Club across the street can be heard through the walls on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 10PM to 2AM

- Office staff is uninformed/useless

- Paid visitor parking, limited residential parking (do not believe employees who say they have a "deal" with the complex next door to use the parking garage, you will be towed)

- Office staff often comes into office late and leaves early (which ordinarily is not a concern, except for when missing the delivery of your packages, see next)

- Office staff often does not receive your packages (delivery personnel are not permitted to leave packages at your doorstep, so if an office employee is not present at the office during your delivery, your package will be delayed or sent back)

- a major factor in my roommate and I's decision to live on Gaines was one staff member's claim that the club Recess had been shut down in July '14 because of city noise ordinances. This is not true because The Lofts on Gaines is in a business district, not a residential district, and therefore Recess is not required to keep the volume down



To sum it up, the apartments themselves are wonderful, the quality of these units are among the best. Parking is tricky, but manageable. Maintenance workers are friendly, helpful and work quickly. The office staff is unhelpful and often misleads residents.
