StarMetro operates city bus routes in Tallahassee, including campus shuttles at Florida State University and Florida A&M University, plus a Dial-a-Ride service for seniors and disabled citizens and a variety of seasonal transit programs. The company helps people get where they are going and helps the community by easing the traffic problems when people use public transit. Ride guides are available online or at more than 350 locations throughout the city. People can look for a brochure rack at a favorite store or restaurant, government buildings, apartment and office complexes, gas stations, and motels and hotels. The guides are also available at C. K. Steele Plaza and the StarMetro offices on Appleyard Drive. Nights and Sunday, Saturday and holiday schedule services are less frequent during these times. All bus routes meet downtown at the C.K. Steele Plaza on Tennessee Street. People can transfer buses on the route at no additional cost. Satellite transfers are also available. StarMetro is located in Tallahassee, Fla.
