Showed up in a van where the back hatch did not open, the van was filthy dirty. There were 4 of us and only 3 seats, the front seat and two seats in the back that we squeezed into, not able to use a seatbelt. The van sounded like it was going to break down any minute. Only $36 but I guess the old adage, "you get what you pay for" is true. Won't be using them again.

Company only takes cash for services, while all similar services offer card purchases. Do not tell you up front that this is the case. Do not cooperate when you try to reach them to retrieve personnel property lost in a cab.

If you in Tallahassee and are looking for a good dependable and affordable cab ride, then these are the people to call! they have a good flat rate. My round trip cab fair was only about 12 buck, when "Yellow Cab's" was almost 30 bucks for the same distance! that's crazy. And the best part is they Do Not use a METER which saves you a bunch! because with a meter you pay to be at a red light. a railroad crossing, and etc; which is extremely unfair. This company does not BS you the tell it like it is. and I personally recommend requested Mr. Tommy, he very friendly and he's done this awhile so I sure he knows every short cut in the book! ohh and get this, Mr. Tommy was even 30 Minutes early for my scheduled pickup! way to go American Van & Taxi Inc!

I was suppose to use this company yesterday to go to the airport in the morning. They never called to tell me that they were gonna be late I ended up driving myself to the airport and had to pay for a week parking there instead of just one cabb ride. I called back to them and they had an explanation the car broke down and that they were sorry. If that so happen the driver should have let me know I had a flight to catch. And they were not willing to pay for my parking at the airport. Will not use them again!

AVT will always be my choice in Tallahassee. I used them do give me a ride from the downtown Greyhound station to the Apalachicola Forest, and I was very pleased with everything: the price, the reservation, and the service. I drove with a very friendly driver, and when we arrived at my trailhead, I thought for a moment about inviting him for beer before hiking :) Really, don’t look any farther; if in need of any ride in Tallahassee or beyond, call the American Van Transportation.

American Van Transportation in Tallahassee, FL provided two days of shuttle services for the Florida Nurses Association 2013 Lobby Days Convention. From the point of contact through the contracted period of service, American Van Transportation worked with us to get our members to and from 10 different hotel sites to our convention site as well as to and from the State Capitol and legislative reception. The drivers were professional and provided excellent and timely service to our members. Job well done!!!!

I would highly recommend American Transportation as a trusted, reliable, and cost-effective taxi service. I needed a company I could trust to get my 18-year-old daughter to the airport. The driver called to check on the time for pick-up the day before, and proceeded to arrive early the next morning for an early flight out. The service that I received from American Transportation was second to none!

American Transportation is great! they picked me up from AJs a few nights ago and it was great! their cabs are clean and they are always on time. also the drivers were really nice and they seemed like they cared about their customers, unlike yellow cab whose drivers are rude and always late when they come to pick me up. definitely use this service again! best cabs in tallahassee for sure!

My friends and I used them last night and they were perfect. They picked us up on time and the vans were very clean. I will definitely be using only them from now on! Loved it!
