Talladega Quality Health Care

I think the title says it all. I've had nothing but problems with this place. Everything from not calling in perscriptions when asked for WEEKS at a time. Actual WEEKS! To over charging by hundreds of dollars because the receptionist forgot to ask for my proof of income. I have no idea what's going on up there. They almost never answer their phones either. Once I spent 9 consecutive business days trying to get in touch with their office to set an appointment. Then they tried outsourcing to a call center to set appointments and the minimum wait was 20 minutes. I found that out by calling several times and found it wasn't based on how many callers were ahead of you, just a 20 minute wait no matter what. The receptionist is rude and cares more about her style than her job. The NP doesn't listen either, she wants you in and out and prescribes drugs without much want for finding out your specific medical problem. I really wish I could afford private healthcare to avoid having to come to this office but alas, I'm here writing this review because I was looking up the number of the office. :(

This office doesn't even deserve a star, they are lazy, they don't even know what a medical release is. We are treated with the bare minimum of toleration, the nurse Tasha is downright hateful. The NP instead of having someone call for information we are left in the room while she sees other patients only to have someone come tell us an hour later she had left for the day....This office is the most hateful disrespectful medical facility I have ever been to. They give QoLHS a bad name!

love the dr but there help is unreliable and the receptionist is unpleasant.

This office started off okay, I got what I needed, had no problems. But at my last appointment they scheduled my next appointment for four months but only called in three months worth of medication. Last week, when I had 9 days worth of medicine left, I called them asking them to call in a refill. Gave them all of my information and the pharmacy I used. They said they'd call it in. I called the pharmacy that evening, not called in. I called the pharmacy the next day, still nothing. I called the office back on Thursday and explained it had not been called in and that I needed it called in. All my info again, and I waited until friday to call the pharmacy. Nothing. I called them Monday, and still no prescription called in. I called the office yet again today, and they assure me yet again it will be called in. I just got off the phone with the pharmacy and nothing was called in. I took my last pill this morning. And to top it all off, they are closed tomorrow. What am I supposed to do until then? And what happens if they don't call it in again?! I am very upset with this office.
