Baptist Health Center Talladega

Moved to the area recently so needed a primary care provider. Went in 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork as requested. Staff did not provide documents until appointment time so wasn't seen at scheduled time. Waited in waiting room a long time then was called to room for vital signs. CAN was unfriendly and harsh in tone. Escorted to a room where I waited more until I could sit on my spine any longer. My daughter lowered the exam table so I could lay down and we waited more. Finally, I left the room and told the CNA that I was unable to sit on their hard chair a minute longer. So they got my $17 and change and I got to sit around in pain for 2 hours.

I would say that the office manager does not show compassion toward the staff. Especially one that has been there many, many years and is not out on medical leave and being threatened by the office manager to return to work or be replaced. If the office manager shows so little compassion for her staff they just exactly how much compassion is shown for the patients. This nurse that is being threatened is an outstanding nurse, but due to blood clots in you groin she has had to be out quite a while and she still has the clots but is being threatened to return to work. How hard hearted can any one person be. Don't worry this is just the beginning of my letter writing on this nurses behalf. Let her come back as she requested
