had a great time...nice quiet and peacefull..good camp site.. only 15.00 to camp / night..brought my jeep and camper...loved it

Its so sad. The campground is actually very scenic and peaceful. However, The campground manager insists you pay her in cash (not noted on the website and there is no cash machine within 20 miles). My check was refused and was forced to pay in cash. Additionally, they make an extra vehicle pay for an entire camp site per night. When I offered to park my car off site and return later, I was refused and forced to pay the extra twenty bucks. Its a total racket and the manager is a dragon lady. I would never stay there again. They extort money from you. The campground was basically empty when I went there. It's no wonder...until the port gets rid of the manager, I will never return.

Nature's paradise on the river. Electricity available, but no water. Terrible campground manager, rude, demeaning. Been there for years, so she's not leaving any time soon. Only accept cash. Few campers, likely because of the campground manager.
