Stoney Hill Boarding Kennels

First time using Stoney Hill Kennels , and we will definitely be back! the owner is very nice and you can tell she loves the dogs.. nice clean place and our dog was clearly happy there. and the price is great! I would absolutely recommend this kennel to anyone.

The kennel seemed like an unremarkable, clean kennel. However, communicating with the owners was very difficult during the week and our calls were not returned over the weekend.

My wife and I spent weeks looking at kennels all over from south county to east bay- We are new to the area and was dissapointed with the options. We decided to use Stoney Hill for several reasons 1 very clean 2 very nice family that cares for the dogs 3 could handle our overactive labs. Our dogs stayed for 19 days due our relocation- People were undertanding that we had to extend the stay b/c of moving complications. Hands down a place to go that truly cares and enjoys what they do and it shows.

I have an older Rotweiler w/ bad hips..I travel alot and have to kennel her often. I found Stoney Hill by taking a wrong turn... But the owners were accomodating to help me find my way. They offered me a tour of the kennel and asked if I would consider trying them out next time- or to even use as a back up. Well I was so impressed at how clean the kennel was and all the dogs actually looked happy and content to be there. I asked them if I could have my Tara stay. I explained her elder care that needed tending to especiallynot getting up to make it out to do her business. Without a blink the owner, sarah asked if Tara had all her vacs. and faxed the vet- in no time Tara was setted in. I could not believe it- mydog didnt look back- I was thrilled to find that my dog felt like she was at home- - When away am able to check in on her-email- helps when Im in mtgs all day. At pick up Tara was excited to see me of course but noticed that she kept on wanting to lean against Sarah.- This put my mind at ease for my next trips. Although things are clean at the kennel- I gave her a bath as no matter where I have left Tara she does have "Kennel BO"- Its not the same as being in your own home.- I have told several of my neighbors and friends and coworkers about this hidden home away from home- I have been back several times. I amsorry for the last person who posted to think of this place as some place not to to go back to. It really is a great place.
