Jumping Slide

I would never return to this unsafe play area. The four year old child I was with ran into the front clear glass window. The facility used to be a store with the glass store front remaining in place. Store fronts have display windows but all objects are placed away from the windows in this play area. They have been open for 4 months, I was told it had never happened before. It will happen again unless something is applied to the clear glass at various heights for children and adults of all sizes. The child I was with suffered with bruising to his forehead, knee and hand with swelling on his forehead that was golf ball sized. I asked for an ice pack, this is a play area for children, they had none. So ice was not applied until someone went to get some from a restaurant. This could have been so much worse. This large store front had two silver stars hanging at adult height and I was told this was sufficient to warn of clear glass. Supervision in the arcade area, mini golf area and party room was non existant. There were two staff members in the play area across from the golf, arcade and party room, that was it. Also, the area the children run around in in hard wood flooring. The children wear socks, this is incredibly dangerous. All other play areas we have visited have had soft flooring. The inflatable bounce equipment was hooked up to pumps powered by extension cords on the floor where the children play. The wires are stuck to the floor with masking tape and hand written warnings, but most small children can't read yet. The one unisex bathroom was dirty with a broken toilet seat. I cannot believe this place passed an inspection.
