ARCH Veterinary Services was founded to provide owners and pets with affordable, reliable, compassionate house call services. We offer a unique approach to veterinary medicine by providing clients with a comprehensive in home veterinary care for all stages of your pet’s life. Currently we are able to provide preventative care (vaccines, heartworm tests, Leukemia/FIV tests, routine blood work, parasite tests, and a variety of other services). ARCH Veterinary Services was found on four important aspects. Affordability: we are priced considerably lower then other veterinarians because we feel that veterinary medicine should be financially affordable for everyone. Reliability: We understand that our clients are busy and time is precious. It is for this reason that we are open from 8:00 AM-10:00 PM with additional hours upon request. We are also 100% committed in arriving at your residence at the specified appointment time. Compassionate: We are aware of the dynamic relationships that our owners have with their pets, and it for this reason we only hire people who understand and respect these perspectives and are compassionate not only with the clients but also more importantly with their pet. Finally and most important is our House call which we at ARCH veterinary services feel eliminates the difficulty and stress of a trip to the veterinarian’s office.
Dog dental and cat dental care are very important for the overall well-being of your beloved pets. Dental disease in cats and dogs is prevalent and can lead to severe issues such as heart disease and kidney failure if left untreated. We provide complete veterinary dental care at both of our San Jose locations.
Vaccination
Dogs and cats all firstly require primary vaccinations; these are to protect them when they are young and most vulnerable. Please make sure you get them vaccinated as early as possible. This protection allows your pets to make new friends and safely explore the world around them.
Nutritional Counseling
Need to advise on pet nutrition? Well, you are lucky. Give us a call, and our on-staff nutrition specialist can set up a 30-minute phone call to answer all of your pet's nutritional needs.
Comprehensive Examination
At ARCHVET animal hospital, regular physical examinations are critical to maintaining your pets' health. Our veterinarians recommend a complete physical exam annually. Our veterinary specialist will develop a tailored preventative and treatment plan for your pets. We provide an array of veterinary services. Having an emergency veterinarian on staff allows us to elevate the type of medicine we offer, with two locations in san Jose.
Our veterinarians are extensively trained to treat all dermatological conditions your pet may have. We can diagnose and treat your pet with a variety of new medications.
Your pet is a member of the family, and our goal is to provide as safe an environment as possible during your pet’s CT scan. Before, during, and after the CT our patients are monitored by certified anesthesia nurses who are specially trained to deal with patients undergoing CT, and monitor your pet's breathing, heart rate, pulse oxygenation, and blood pressure. Routine blood work and chest X-rays are performed prior to the CT to minimize the risks associated with anesthesia. The CT studies are performed by an experienced radiology technician under the guidance of a radiologist. This allows us to acquire high-quality diagnostic images in as short a time as possible, further minimizing any anesthetic risk. The specialist is also involved in every step of the CT scan including patient positioning, monitoring, study design, and interpretation. We work as a team to provide the highest level of care possible for your pet
X-Ray
If the doctor feels that a CT scan is necessary for your pet, the study can be performed as quickly as the same day of your appointment. Ultimately, scheduling is based on the urgency of the test and your pet’s general health. It is our top priority to have your pet as strong as possible to make them good anesthetic candidates, and routine bloodwork and chest X-rays are performed prior to anesthesia.
At ARCHVET, we pride ourselves on providing your pet the best and most comprehensive care. This includes suggestions on changing key behavioral issues in cats and dogs.
