Fleas can hide under your pet’s fur, and some ticks are very tiny (only the size of a pinhead), so they are very difficult to find. Fortunately, we can recommend tests to tell if your pet has parasites. We can also examine your pet for evidence of fleas, ticks, or other parasites.

Dr. Bhakhri graduated from Punjab Agricultural University, India in 1997. He finished his clinical rotations at University of Tuskegee in Alabama. His fields of expertise are small animal surgery and internal medicine. He also takes good care of rodents and pocket pets. He consults with specialists when required. Dr. Bhakhri was licensed in California in 2000 and worked in different clinics in the Bay Area for 4 years. He also worked in an emergency clinic in New York for 2 years. He has been working at ELC Veterinary Clinic since August 2006. Dr. Bhakhri is capable of handling any type of emergency or critical cases. In addition to his busy schedule at the clinic, he likes to hike and travel and spend time with his family and his pet dog, Rey.
