Dr. Paul Umeda, "Dr. Paul" to everyone who visits the Arroyo Animal Clinic, is the most open and caring animal doctor we've ever had the privilege of knowing. Our pets are like kids to us, and Dr. Paul understands that. His kindness and caring are unsurpassed in our experience. He has taken care of our cats for over 15 years, and was there to guide us through the heartbreaking loss of two of them. His passion for the animals is unfailing, and his kindness and wisdom is a balm to the people who need their questions answered. All of the staff are wonderful people who truly love and care for their four-legged charges. They do everything in their power to lessen the stress of getting shots, or having blood drawn. We have been visiting Dr. Paul Umeda for 15 years, during the wonderful and long life of our beloved dog. Dr. Paul always showed exceptional care, and practicality when discussing our dog's health. He took generous time to answer all of our questions (wish my own doctor would do that!), and showed compassion and understanding when it was time to say goodbye.
