About Gambrell ManufacturingBased in Historic Sumter, South Carolina, Gambrell Manufacturing has recently moved to their new, larger facility. The new facility houses two large showrooms displaying the entire product line. The showrooms offer the retailer different innovative ideas for setting up their mattresses gallery.Gambrell Manufacturing uses premium American-Made components, all assembled and tailored to perfection in our state-of-the-art production facility. With national buying power as a result of our relationships with brand names Eastman House and Eclipse International , Gambrell Mfg. offers compelling values at every level. Our mattress are constructed and built with the insight of many years of mattress manufacturing engineering. Eastman House has been in the mattress industry since 1866 and Eclipse 1905.As a Green manufacturer, Gambrell Manufacturing believes whole-heartedly in recycling and conservation. From plastic packaging, foam and fabric cutting scraps to cardboard and aluminum cans, we generate very little non-recycled waste. In addition, we conserve energy by using natural skylights throughout the factory.When it comes to our employees, we have the best. As an adherent of Lean Manufacturing technique, our employees are involved at many levels in looking for methods to cut costs and improve quality. They take pride in their craftsmanship and it shows in our quality. We have an unprecedentedly low turnover rate, and the camaraderie throughout the plant feels like family.
