Raceway Gas

I was at raceway on 11801 hwy6 s. Sugarland tx77498. I bought coffee the cash @reg1 csh wasee asked me credit or debit I told him credit so requested for my card and i have to him he swipe from his own end the reciet came out , but he immediately look at my security code and pursed for while i asked why , I asked him why he said the computer requested for it. I asked while the reciet was already out he said yes , I told him not to be look at people information that is identity theft, but he should not try any thing with my card that i monitor my card round the clock. I left he appeared to be scared. My question is does the cash reg request for security code of a card after a transaction. Am an emt my partner was my wetness.
