Overall

One of the nicest places I've lived at. Everyone is always friendly. Last year the management replaces everyone's doors and windows, plus the parking lot just got completely redone. The large one bedroom apartment is almost as big as my old condo. I've been living here for about three years now, and the only thing I don't like is that the dumpster is on the other side of the property.

Overall
I WOULD NOT recommend this pla...

I WOULD NOT recommend this place, its ok for the price and location; short term only. Other than that it is very poor. It used to be an ok place at first but has quickly gone downhill. If you don’t require any amenities you will be ok.

- Apartments are all very outdated (old cabinets, old fixtures, cheap appliances)

- walls and floors (walls are fairly thin you can usually hear your next door neighbor listing to tv or music) BUT the floor and ceiling is made of cement slabs so you will never hear people above or below you which is very nice not having to hear people stomp around above you.

- Ancient doors and windows (very drafty in winter)

- You will have many electrical problems.

- A/C unit mounted in living room wall does not cool the apartment in the summer, it’s a waste of money to even run it. So if you like it cool in the summer (tough luck)

- General appearance of interior public space of the buildings is very poor. Building ALWAYS SMELLS like an outhouse. Floors are old and filthy, walls are dirty, and carpets are dirty.

- Laundry units on every floor (always broken, charges a high price for old junk machines) so you will probably have to go to a laundry mat.

- Trash chute on every floor (CONVENIENT) BUT smells awful because the building maintenance doesn't take the dumpster out very often, and lazy people leave their trash in the trash room and don't throw it away.

- Parking is adequate if you don't mind walking far to your car. Parking lot is in very poor shape even though it was partial just re-surfaced.

- constant water main breaks (you will be out of water for days at a time. also the water lines break under the parking lot so the lot floods, which makes parking difficult for weeks at a time and multiple times a year.)

- Elevators in the buildings (very convenient) BUT (always broken for days to weeks at a time)

- Indoor pool and workout room. :( (Pool has ridiculous hours, open only in summer a few days a week - only open in the middle of the day. (The pool is also poorly kept, way too much chemicals because they never clean it.

- Workout room (don’t bother! take a jog outside. you will be better off. One treed-mill, an old stationary bike, and a multi-gym workout machine which if completely broken and unusable.

- APARTMENT STAFF (repair men are the only helpful people here) office staff is very rude, and will NEVER help with anything. Generally the way this complex runs is for office staff to intrude into your personal business and your apartment. There is numerous signs posted every few months that they need to enter all the apartments and "check for water leaks" ha what a joke. They do this every 3 or 4 months to gain entry into everyone's apartments to spy on you and how you’re living and see how they can raise rent on people.

- Most of the neighbors are great BUT there is always a huge downside. The police, ambulance & fire department are ALWAYS!! Here, SERIOUSLY practically every day. Mostly domestic disturbance stuff, many people getting carted off in ambulances, and the weekly occurrence of the fire department because someone burned dinner and lit their stove on fire.

- Fire safety – this is the most unsafe complex for a fire to break out. I’m not sure how this place isn’t shut down or forced to retro fit the buildings with stand pipes on each floor for firemen to hookup water hoses on each floor. Instead if and when there is a fire the firemen have to hook up to water outside and haul those hoses up to which ever floor or apartment is on fire (even the top floor). This is EXTREMELY unsafe especially for elderly, handicapped, people with children, and people with pets!

Altogether there is really no plus marks on anything here. Just basic run of the mill dump.
