Acapulcos - Stratford

pretty decent mexican for CT but service is generally really slow and erratic

One of the best Mexican places I have ever eaten at. Waiters are exceptional. Authentic. Music playing. I can't wait to go back.

I have been to Acapulcos three times in the last year. The last visit was unfortunate. I excitedly brought a friend there from out of town hoping they would enjoy it as much as I have in the past. The experience was not what we expected. I ordered a fajita. It was lower quality meat than previously. The refied beans were not even good. He ordered a seafood dish. It was unappetizing to say the least. The shrimp in the dish was smaller than salad shrimp and the flavors did not work. The quality seems to have decreased since I visited last. It did not taste the way I remember it. The food was a dissapointment from the salsa served with the chips to the fajita I ate. Very unfortunate.

I eat at this restuarant at least twice a month. The food is excellent. I highly recommend it.
