        Our Mission To provide a foundation for a lifetime of learning. “The main goal of education should be to encourage growth of competent, caring, loving, and lovable people.” – Nel Noddings Our Philosophy Pollywog Place encourages young learners to be inquisitive of the world around them by placing an emphasis on exploration and inquiry while maintaining a nurturing and playful environment. Through daily educational experiences in language arts, mathematics, and science, children will develop skills that will provide confidence as they transition to kindergarten. Providing time for developmental play will facilitate the acquisition of necessary social skills such as caring for one another and working together as a community of learners. Children will complete each day with a sense of accomplishment and contentment.

        Lily Pad Program – Infants This program is for our littlest ones, and includes the necessary love attention and care that all infants require. Yet, even at this young age, we focus on building positive foundations for development and learning. Lily Blossom Program – Toddlers Toddlers are a bundle of energy and curiosity – they blossom before our eyes at a rapid pace. This program responds to their energy by offering an exciting social, creative and imaginative experience, so that your little one is constantly engaged. Little Frog Program – Pre-Schoolers At three or four, preschoolers are on their way to finding their place in the world. It’s a time of self-discovery and awareness of one’s voice and presence, in relation to others. To help them along, this program focuses on language and social skills. Dragonfly Program – Pre-K Your little guy or girl is almost ready to fly to pond! This program focuses on helping your child prepare for the upcoming year. It’s a big transition, and we take it seriously here at Pollywog Place.
