My husband and I have bought 4 cars from this dealer, whom I’ve also referred my son and others to because of their good pricing. However, this era is def. over. I’ll never buy or refer again after this last purchase on Friday. Bought a 2014 Escape Titanium. After getting a fair price on the vehicle and waiting about 3 hours for financing process, we were told we had NO option but to buy the $1000 worth of paint and fabric protection (on a car with leather seats!) that’s allegedly already been applied to the vehicle and has NO WARRANTY because it’s a 2014 vehicle. How is this FAIR ADVERTISING when they are jacking the price you have to walk out the door with after picking the car and negotiating price... then only to find you’re getting SCREWED when your tired and don’t want to have to start all over somewhere else? THEY DIDNT DO THIS 3 Years ago. I’ll never shop here again.

I came to Suburban Ford Of Sterling Heights from W. 8 mile to look at a used car they had advertised on carfax. I called and talk to Ms. Avery at 1 pm and set a appointment to come see the car at 2:30 pm. I was informed that the car I was looking at had not been sold and was still available to look at. Before getting there I talk to Ms. Avery a additional two times letting her know I would be running late. Once I got to Suburban Ford I was told by the sales rep that the car had been sold that morning and that he told Ms. Avery it had been sold that morning because someone else called wanting to look at the car. I felt it was very deceiving and dishonest for Ms. Avery to intentionally lie to me about a car she knew wasn't there especially since I came a long way to see it, it was a inconvenience to myself and the other people I came with. The sale rep Brad did try to accommodate me for the inconvenience by showing me good customer service and I did also tell the manager but beware.

Lying Crooks. Do not buy a car from this dealership. Very dishonest and deceptive business practices. Buyer beware because there are many more respectable dealerships out there. Take time to READ REVIEWS

BEWARE: Appointments don't mean anything here. I booked an oil change for 1:40 pm, and showed up exactly at that time. I was told that there was a 3 hour wait.I said I had made an appointment, and was informed that, despite having an appointment, the wait time would still be 3 hours. This make absolutely no sense; why even offer the option to book an appointment ahead of time?

I had a bad experience with this dealership when purchasing my car a year ago (they added on "paint and fabric protection" for $1500, without me even knowing that it's optional, and worth far less), and vowed to never return. But I had a free oil offer change from them, and thought I'd use it. Needless to say, I'll be sticking with Meineke from now on, where they charge far less, off much friendly service, and there's almost no wait times (even without an appointment).

Andrew - Thank you for making us aware of your unsatisfactory visit to our service department. We understand your frustration and apologize for the lengthy wait that you experienced during your visit and any inconvenience that it may have caused. While we do offer online scheduling, at times we may fall behind due to earlier customer repairs that required extra time and attention. We strive for excellence, but at times we do fall short. Please contact our Service Director, Bruno Polisena at (586) 268-7500 to discuss this further and attempt to rectify the situation. Thank You.

Suburban Ford - What a joke!!!!!!

Never go to Suburban Ford for Service!!!! A friend informed me of the poor service that he received. After my son was rear ended, my insurance company recommended that I send the truck to Suburban for an electrical problem. They have the expertise being that they are associated with Ford. What a mistake!!!! Had the truck for over 3 weeks, said it was done, replaced the alternator, problem continued and kept sending it back. Service department never made phone calls with updates, had to initiate everything. Finally washed their hands of it saying it was the remote starter. $700 + later, car still had problem. Took it to Ricks Tire and Wheel per a recommendation, 2 hours later (Yep! 2 hours later) short was found and truck runs great! Now disputing $700 + charge with Credit Card company. So much for their Techs being qualified and experts! Would not even give them a star, but I have to.

I have a new 2012 Ford Escape ...

I have a new 2012 Ford Escape that makes a very loud buzzing noise when driven on the freeway. I took it into Suburban Ford and got it back the very next day. They claimed that they heard the noise and fixed the problem. That same day I drove my car and heard the same noise. I took it back in and went with the service manager on a road test. He heard the noise and told me they would fix it. After hearing nothing about the car I called twice to talk to the worker who was in charge of my call and left a message. He never called me back and I had to go to the dealership to get an explanation. He told me that they couldn't fix the problem. When I asked to speak to the service manager he told me that they could fix the problem but it would take more time. Since I had already had my car in for over a week I thought it would be no issue to get a loaner car. I was lied to again and told that they had no loaner cars available. Unbelievable, since it is one of the largest Ford dealerships in the state. Perhaps what made me the most mad was the fact that he told me to take it to Russ Milne because I bought it there. He told me that they might be able to give me a loaner car since I bought it there. Why would it matter where I bought it? I will never go back for service or a purchase. Horrible customer service and un-ethical practices.

Awful awfull. Was given a quote for a new lease and when it was the day to pick up my car the finance guy's told me a total different story. Nice way to display my new car in front of me and suddenly telling me it will cost more. I left and will never be back, went to dorian instead.....

My husband and I had a great experience here. We went in for just some basic information on leasing a truck and walked away with a deal that was too good to pass up on a 2012 F150.

The gentlemen we worked with bent over backwards to get us the truck within our price range. I am very happy with our decision to go with Suburban Ford!

Don't go here they are a bunch of crooks. I went to buy a used car. Looked it over and took it on a long test drive. Agreed to buy the car. They told me they had to do an inspection first, strange never heard of any body doing this before. We said OK, then they needed us to put a down payment, get insurance and transfer the plate before they would even inspect it. Didn't seem right be we wanted the car and were happy with the price. We came back in a hour and were told THIS CAR WE JUST DROVE was to unsafe to sell. They wanted us to have them repair this car before we could even have it. How in the world does a vehicle INSPECTION turn into a vehicle REPAIR!!!!!! Going by the other reviews this dealership prides it self on ripping people off and being dishonest. I wish I could give a negative star review, never have I been so poorly treated, tell every one you know to avoid this place.
