My puppy and I were pleased. He was treated kindly and professionally. I was taught how to care for him at home and they had the medicine we needed on hand. (I even used a coupon for the visit and They included a follow up to check on his progress.)The Vet was patient and helpful and I would return to this clinic.

Was recommended this place by a coworker and wow, what a huge mistake it was for me to take my kitty here. For one, the facility is not that great and welcoming. And the friendliness of the employees are just...eh. The first time I took my kitty here, I was told he needed a rabies vaccine because when I first got him, he was too young for one. Gave both the vet and vet's assist. my paperwork and my the medical records of my cat. He gave my cat a physical examination and read through the medical history. He claimed that my cat already had a rabies shot (even though when I got my cat he was 2 months old and NOT old enough for one). He pointed to some medical name and with confidence said, "Yes that's the rabies" and as did the vet's assist. How can this be? He was too young for a rabies shot when I got him. The place I got him from specifically told me that I need to take my cat for a rabies shot. The vet did not give a rabies shot to my cat that day, but he did give him a shot for leukemia. I was told that I need to call the place that gave him the so called "rabies shot" and confirm. Long story short I went to PCAS and asked somebody there for a confirmation since my vet didn't know and they said that it is just a rabies booster shot, not an actual rabies shot and they also highly recommended I get a new vet (in which I totally agree). How can a trained and licensed veterinarian not know the difference between a rabies booster shot and a rabies shot? Shouldn't he know that a cat 2 months old at adoption time could not have possibly have had his rabies shot? I'm just appalled by his knowledge on this. Went back to finish the pre-paid package I got with a rabies shot and I am never coming back again.



Another thing to add is the rude assist. of his. Being a new customer, I did not feel welcomed by her at all. I was treated very rudely. The first time I came when we were wrapping things up, I handed her a $55 coupon that included a physical exam, and 2 vaccinations of my choice from 3 options. She looked at the coupon and gave me a dirty look saying "You should have given me this ahead of time." Rolled her eyes, and walked back to wherever she came from. Um, I'm sorry? How was I supposed to know coupons needed to be given ahead of time? Obviously my first time here (hence the new patient form) and I had no idea how things work. I don't understand how people like this work at the front desks where new and old patients walk in and out.



Oh, another thing! (Yes there were many bad things happening with my experience)

Usually, when you take your pets to a vet, they are trained to know how to old animals, correct? Well the first time I came here, my cat was struggling with his shot, the vet assist. was no where to be found, and so they had me hold my cat down which was scary as hell because what if I did something wrong? What if I didn't hold him correctly and the needle went elsewhere? I don't know how things like this work, and I'm not willing to take a risk trying. I thought this was what vets are paid for? The second time I came here, he was getting his rabies shot and the nurse was ACTUALLY there for it (ikr?). She was struggling trying to hold him down (guys, it's a 5lb KITTEN) and so she called me over and asked for me to hold my cat down. The vet kind of scolded her a bit and said "No, look. Like THIS. I got it." and he held him down and gave him the shot. What kind of "trained" vet assist. does not know how to properly hold down an animal for a simple shot that she has to call someone who is untrained (me) over? Never going back again. Not like I even understand half the things the vet says anyway with his super strong accent.



Well, here is my detailed review guys. Wanted to make it detailed as possible so I can convince you NOT to come here.

forget it!!!!!!!!!!! doesn't have the slightest clue how to get you a Pinellas County license after giving the animals their rabies shots.



I brought in a new dog that I needed to be throroughly checked out. Dr. P. said the dog was fine.



1 week later: Dog has nasal discharge, kennel cough, FEVER, and EAR MITES. How can you miss fever and ear mites? An amateur could diagnose it! All it takes is a thermometer and a good look into the dog's ears.



He IS nice, but this is only the place to go if you need trifexis or simply shots. Not ideal for sick animals

Don't go here! He treated my dog for over a year for skin allergies. We even called him for 2 emergency visits because our dog was screaming in pain and couldn/t stand up and we brought him there and assured us it was his skin infection. He was once again treated with shots and medication. Long story short, our dog died at home a year later from kidney failure because he had lymes disease!!! The saddest thing is that if i thad been caught and treated he would of been alive today. He was only 7 years old. We went to talk to him about it and he first said that he couldnt find our file, acting like we never went there. We then went back with copies of our files and he took me out back and said that he should of done the blood work to check for other things but was trying to save us money. Are you kidding me! If he said we needed blood work we would of done it. He didnt mind charging us every month for steroid shots and medication. He offered to reimburse us for 2 visits. Unacceptable and I am reporting him. He has his wife working with him and I dont even think she has any training. He needs to go back into retirement. Please dont bring your pet there.

First time visit, for small dog with arthirits. Dr. gave me 227 mg dosage of arhtritis med. I checked it when I got home, it was enopugh for a 115lb dog she weighs 14 lbs. Called several Pet Pharmacies, said it would have killed her. Called this vet back, dr. Prasad, he swore it was 22.7 mg, I told him I was told they only make 227 or 57, he said I was wrong, I checked again..called him back, he checked the bottle it was 227mg...no apology nothing..gave me rx money back from wife, no apology no explanation...nothing, how many other dogs got sick from this med being given out as an overdose? I filed a complaint, dont go there
