Springfield Glass Co

I had a bathroom window and door replaced from Springfield Glass and was nothing but pleased with the job! The employees were sure not to leave until the job was not only completed, but completed up to their standards.

I have bee patient while trying to get 11 pieces of glass to cover my tables in my living. However, my patience is wearing very thin when the third issue has surfaced since dealing with this Springfield Glass Co. First, I contacted this company several weeks ago to ask about ordering custom glass. They were closed so I left a message. After a week of no returned call, I re contacted the company and spoke to them about my request. The woman on the phone was pleasant and did recall my message. She also provided that she would take my number and info down again to have someone come to my home for proper measurements. Well that initially sounded great...except once again I never received a follow up call from them to coordinate the house call. Instead I contacted them a little over a week later to check on the status. The same pleasant woman answered and scheduled the home visit later that week. Finally someone came to my home and took measurements. Two days later the same woman called to inform me of the total costs and to collect half via credit card over the phone to schedule the installation. Prior to paying half I asked if they would guarantee the installment on the date provided since I had issues getting someone to even come out to measure. Of course the woman assured me there would be no further issues. Well that was too good to be true...the installer never showed up the time they were scheduled. Instead, they called 45 minutes after their appointment time and stated they were ill prepared and didn't have the proper tool to cut the glass the right way. Apparently, they were going to a local tool store to buy the item and he would call me back to let me know if the installation would be completed within 15 minutes. Well 40 minutes later the same woman from the previous discussions called me to reschedule...Hmmmm so not only have they fallen through with customer service, but now they have half my job fees and zero percent of my confidence left. Not happy with their lack of service or preparation/readiness to complete their jobs.
