Shirley's Alterations & Repair

I took my daughter's prom dress to her. It has two layers with a rolled hem. 1st - Was charged more for alterations than what I paid for the dress. 2nd - was charged a $30 rush fee when I dropped it off 3 weeks before I needed it. 3rd - picked the dress up and the hem wasn't even done correctly. My mom-in-law dropped the dress off and when I asked her to pick it back up the following day because I didn't want to pay the ridiculous price, the dress was already done and not done right. Her rush charge is ridiculous and obviously she isn't that busy if she had the dress done the same day (what she said) She charged an exuberant amount to just draw the hem up (she says in case we wanted to sell it later) NOT what was asked of her. She's a crook. Just because she's the only place in Springfield doesn't mean she should price gouge her customers. Thanks for nothing Shirley's! Will never go back!

Shirley is a nice lady... She does great work she is the only employee..Good work for an affordable price/
