We should run you from the community. Bad people, really bad people here at this place. Shame on you for taking advantage of the community on Christmas knowing you are the only veterinary emergency services open.

I can't speak to their expertise because I took a cat that belongs to a nice elderly woman who had all of sudden went parilized in the hind legs. I thought maybe a car struck him but they explained that he had a blood clot that caused it. They gave us our options and chances of a full recovery with use of his legs and chance of it coming back. I cked up later and they were right there was nothing to do. It broke the lady's heart, but you couldn't have asked for a more compassionate staff and the price of everything was not out of hand by any means. In fact I thought it would be more especially with the cremation. I hope I don't have to do this thing again, but I'm sure I'll be back if I need a emergency veterinarian. I drove 50mi into town and would do it again if I needed a emergency veterinarian. I think you people should be glad this service is here
I understand that when a pet is in need you always think there's something someone else could have done. But sometimes things are what they are. And these people helped us get through this. Thank you

I have not been to this clinic, but called for advice for a dog training client of mine. The individual I spoke to was very polite, professional, and helpful. I am only rating this clinic as a 4 rather than a 5 because all I know about it is my experience on the phone. I was impressed, and will recommend this clinic to anyone within driving range who has a veterinary emergency.

all they care about is your MONEY. i did not believe the other reviews at first, but i do now. they did very little to help my pet but charged a whole lot of money. we were easily dismissed with no real help. the next day we went to another vet who quickly began an iv treatment with meds that saved my pets life. evc of sw mo could have and should have done the same thing. these people are worthless. only go to them if you absolutely have to. be sure to follow up with a real vet the next day. if i would not have my pet would not be alive today

Murderers! They let my Six year-old suffer. I told them he was doing better and my other vet had said he was poisoned. I was so confused when after he passed she said it must of been poison and not pneumonia! Then she described the horrific way he died! Now forever seared in my mind! Do not go to them! Save your pets, go to Country club on Bennett. They were closed! But if had waited, he would still be alive! I loved him so much! I hate them!!!

Front staff was very rude and not willing to help and listen. I brought a stay in that had gotten hit trying to be a good person. They told me in the phone they would waive the exam fee but if I wanted to help out further I would need to pay which was fib one I for there they became really rude and accused me of feeding it and having it as outside cat. I tried to explain I was at work and there was no way we were feeding it but they refused to help demanding money up front.they weren't willing to listen to anything and just very unprofessional wouldn't trust them with my fish clearly bit in it to help the animals.

After a botched surgery at the SAAF House. ..they took my kitty and fixed her right up. So thankful that they were able to help her.

Good people, great service. I wonder what the nay sayers hate about this place. It's an emergency clinic, not a drive-thru. They take care of the most urgent cases, which makes sense, unless you're some hoosier that expects to have a vet waiting to greet you at the door. Their prices are very fair and I feel that we got good value for the money we spent there. We're fortunate to have this service available to us in town here.

Do not take your animals here!

I ran my cat to the emergency vet because she had hurt her ear pretty bad. When we arrived at it took them 20 mins to look at her and say she was in a fight with another animal. My cat stays in doors. There aren't any animals to attack her. They began to tell me that I was wrong. Seriously? It's my house. Not to mention they kept saying my cat was a boy. How can you be a veteranarian if you CANT tell the gender of an animal?! I kept telling them that she was female. I guess they just didnt care. They then told me they could help her but she would never grow her hair back on her ear. They charged me almost $300. After a couple of weeks her hair grew back. This place is a joke. Take your pet to see a real vet.

Only for a life or death emergency.

I recently took my basset hound to them when I discovered that his broken leg had an infection. They informed me that his foot was dead, he had no feeling in it, had lost all of its hair, had gangrene, and would need to be amputated. They sent me home and told me to take him to my vets office the next morning. I left their office in tears feeling like the worst pet owner in the world. They had told me that his wrappings had gotten too tight and cut off his circulation. So I felt that it was my fault. I was up all night crying I felt so horrible. When I took him to me vets office the next day they took his cast and wrappings off in front of me. My vet was shocked. He had VERY LITTLE hair loss, he obviously still had feeling in it since he was whining while the vet was examining his leg. The vet trimmed his nail back a little too far to see if it would bleed to make sure their was still blood flow to the foot. There was. And the gangrene? Yea a minor infection which cleared up in just a few days with antibiotics. I dont know if they had my dog mixed up with another or they just dont know what they are doing. Im not sure which I would rather it be either. I just hope they didnt get us mixed up with another dog. I would hate to think that a family took their dog home thinking everything was fine and it wasnt. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone unless it was a true after hours life or death situation.
