Fremont Landing

I've lived here for a year, and recently renewed for another. Internet is included here, and it works well enough for streaming or gaming most of the time that we don't run into many problems.

The neighborhood around these apartments is super friendly and nice, and there are tons of nice places nearby, no shortage of things to do or places to get groceries or a bite to eat. In my building, almost all of the neighbors I've met are pretty friendly, and there seems to be less disruptive neighbor noise than other apartments I or my friends have lived in. There's lots of nice sidewalks in the neighborhood to walk your dog if you have one, too!

We are right near the highway. There was recently a sound-blocking wall put in, but the building is taller than the wall, so it doesn't make a big difference for the 2nd or 3rd floors. If you're really sensitive to traffic noises, you might not appreciate it, but I've not had any issues with it. It seems like very mild background white noise most of the time, and we can't hear it from the master bedroom - only really in rooms right by the windows that overlook it.

The building is pretty old, so sometimes you're going to run into things that need maintenance to come fix them, but that's really to be expected with a building of this age. For the price in this neighborhood, you really can't beat it for value. Some of the buildings do run into pest problems, and we have gone through several managers this year, but we're hopeful that we will get to keep the new manager for a while!

Even with some of the downsides, this is still the best value for what we can afford in the nicest area that we have found. It's a HUGE plus that there are washer-dryer hookups, and the living room is pretty big. (It doesn't have lights in the living room though - and the "linen closet" on the floor plan is actually a utility closet, at least in our unit. We don't have a hallway closet.) We like it here enough that we'll be here at least another year.

Lots of space, good location, great price. Very responsive to the few problems that I've had. Newly renovated.
