Cesar's Old Mexico

Cesar's Old Mexico restaurant is a new entity on E. Sunshine St, We stopped in to check it out and OMG was it good. Through a mixup in communication, I thought I was ordering beef enchiladas, while our server thought I was ordering a carne asada with red sauce. When it came I was surprised, but it smelled so good, I decided to give it a go. It was GREAT! One of the best Mexican meals I've ever had.



My wife had a tamale and chicken enchiladas with mole. She said it was the best Mexican meal she could remember.



Needless to say, Cesar's Old Mexico is now our favorite Mexican restaurant in Springfield. BTW, one thing you should know is that it is authentic Mexican, not Tex-Mex. Also, about half of the patrons eating there are Spanish speakers. I'm predicting Cesar's Old Mexico will have to move to bigger quarters before long.
